The Livingston Antique Outlet was established
by Jeff and Lori Wengle in 2002.
Lori was born in St Clair shores, MI in 1970, and attended high school there. She moved to Huntsville AL, shortly after graduation, when her mother was transfered because of her government job. Lori attended the University of Alabama for accounting, raised her daughter Torri, and was an antique dealer while in school. She ended up back in Michigan, where she finished up her degree at Baker College
Lori joined the work force at Nextel, but never lost the antique bug. She always wanted her own antique mall, and worked hard with her husband Jeff for years starting The Livingston Antique Outlet. Now, Lori splits her time between her two loves, antiques and fitness. Lori was an over weight child, teen and adult, and did something about it. She lost 107 lbs and has kept it off since 1999. Lori is now an ACE Certified personal trainer and owns her own fitness company "Get Your Skinny."

Jeff was born 1968 and grew up in Brighton MI. After graduating from Brighton High, he attended Lawrence Tech for engineering. Jeff decided to start a business with a friend of his after graduating from college.
The business was not related to his field, it was a transportation brokerage business, but the prospect of being his own boss was desireable. They grew the business for ten years, then Jeff sold his half, to his business partner, to buy the antique mall building. Jeff is at The Livingston Antique Outlet full time Mon -Fri.
The Livingston Antique Outlet building started as a manufacturing facility for workout equipment. The inside was full of welding equipment, scrap metal and fork lifts. There was only gravel parking and it was painted a "harvest golden" color, which is an ugly yellow.
Jeff and Lori took over the building in March of 2002 and began work. Jeff built booths, showcases, resurfaced the floor, and added parking. Lori began on marketing to dealers and customers.
The Livingston Antique Outlet opened their first section on June 22, 2002 with 45 booths. Two months later the second section was open to the public, adding 75 booths. The final section, a 12,000 sq/ft addition to the building, was added in 2006. The completed facility boosts a total of 33,000 sq/ft, and has 185 booths, plus showcases, wall spaces and floor spaces. This is a big difference
from it's humble beginning.
